Central locking and such
I just picked up an 84 300sd w/210k and have been working on some of the bugs. The latest one is the central locking doesn't seem to work the former owner had a bungee cord on the inside of the trunk that pulls the GC release and the frt pass window won't do anything. Any insight would be much appreciated. TIA, jim

check the vac pump (yellow line) in the trunk to see what kind of vac. it's creating.
Mine was completely dead. |
If the left rear window works, it's not a fuse. Possibly a window motor but more likely the switch in the center console.
