W140 closing assist pump - what is the SK fitting?
I see W140 closing assist pumps for sale but none have a fitting in the SK position. The pump in my 93 300SD has a fitting in the SK position. What is the SK position for?

That is the VENT port..the motor runs one direction & creates pressure to close the door..then vacuum to relieve that pressure & then vents to allow the diaphragm to rest with no force on it.
