Chain tensioner spring, can they just be replaced?
I don't see why not but what do I know. :D I need the part numbers for the 617 turbo and the M116.

JUst so you know, the spring really has no purpose except to keep a slight amount of force on the tensioner while the engine is not running. The force applied to the chain is from oil pressure.
If the tensioner is not tensioning the chain, it is due to low oil pressure or a leaky tensioner unit. |
