Ignition Key Broken Inside Can't Turn It 2 Pull Out
 

HI, any idea on how can I pull out the ignition cillinder with the key broken?. I have the wires and the new cillinder. and since the key is inside the ignition cillinder how can i turn it to use the wires? please help

It is not on position 1

I believe to remove the cylinder you put the key in position 1 then insert a pin or two, depending on year, to release the cylinder.

If enough of the key is in the cylinder maybe you can convince the cylinder to turn.

If you can't get the cylinder to position 1 you'll have to drill it out.

Actually its not even that easy. The High security keys require part of the dash to be taken out and the cylender cut out with a high speed saw. You don't think Mercedes would allow their cars to be stolen by any thief with a cordless drill do you? :)
