Clk 430

I have a 2000 CLK 430. I can start the car. the car would stay running, but when apply gas to it it won't take gas. it seems like the gas pedal does not work. I press the gas pedal it won't do anything while the gas still running. what would be the problem?

Does it shut off? If so...

Reset the alarm.

Get out of the car and "recycle" the lock button on the FOB. Back in and start it up.

I thought the ignition was armed.

On my W210, a few times it would start and then die. Took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on. I locked the car, then unlocked it, which reset the alarm. Then it started right up.

is your check engine light on? even if not, theres probabaly a code set in the ME.
