Self leveling system on a 2004 S211 E220T CDI

I've just pruchased a MB E220T CDI with 179000 mile on the meter. Well used in other words . I wonder how the SLS works on this car. Has it any rear springs? The reason I ask is that it is an inch lower on the right rear side? I tried to look under the car (I thougt maybe a spring was broken) but couldn't find either a spring or a shockabsorber. Someone who have any suggestions?

Sorry for a little poor english! Blame it on my englishteacher

I added a pic wich shows my cars problem!
