Power Seats Quit Working
Both front power seats on my 1987 190E just stopped working. All seat functions stopped (forward, back, headrest and recline) at the same time for both seats.
What can I check, I don't see a fuse that's marked for the seats. |
Most likely the power seat relay.. In the relay compartment in front of the fuse box....IF you pull a relay there is a 'letter" marking that location.
The seat relay is at position C. |

Thanks for your reply, I'll locate relay C this weekend and see if it's seated properly. Is there any way to check the relay or do I just buy/replace it? Also is this an expensive relay? |
chances are there is a similar relay in the box you can swap it with to test it out first.
