Where is the relay
 

Hi,
I need to locate the relay that controls the interior lights (timer 10 seconds delay) My dealer said that's why the lights stay on even when the door is closed, we checked the switch and its working fine, My car is a 1999 S500 140. Any help appreciated finding Waldo.

I may be wrong but I believe that is a function of the lamp unit itself.

When this happened to me, it was the small switch that gets pressed when my driver side door is closed.(this parts on all the doors). Its a black little switch. I changed it my self, took 5 minutes, cost $4.oo, just had to wait a week for it to come in. I hope your repair is this cheap and easy aswell.
