My 1983 240D's tripmeter and odometer randomly sticks at something .9 and will not rollover. If you reset the tripmeter, the odometer begins registering again until the tripmeter sticks again.
A long time ago, I saw an article on how to repair a speedometer gear that was spinning on its shaft at times resulting in the sticking. The odometer is otherwise extremely accurate and great for running time speed and distance road ralleys. TIA CRufe |

Try doing a search on odometer repair using the search function at the top right of the screen. This has been covered many times. The posts on how to DIY will come up. Or if you don't want to DIY you can farms the job out.
Check out http://www.continentalimports.com if you decide to farm it out.
