1999e320 Tail Light Problem
 

Our 1999 E320 shows "lamp failure" every time the car is put in reverse. I have swapped sides with the tail light bulbs and this worked for awhile but not anymore. What do I need to do next?? TYVM!!!!!!

Common problem. Get a second person to put the car in reverse and step on the brake. Then you need to turn the bulb in the holder until you find the sweet spot. That usually works for me for a couple of years. Or you could change the whole unit. Some have also had luck cleaning and/or building up the contact area.
