Got another one for you guys...

I'm really confused on which Hood pad to get. I am using performance products to purchase my replacement hood pad (the old one is completely rotted away) and I'm confused about which one to order.

I found 2 that are for the 1988 300CE. The first says "to VIN# A7902659" and the second is "from VIN# A790260." Does anyone know what the "to" and "from" mean. I have no clue what to put on my 124 chassis car.

Also, when pruchasing the hood pad, does it also come with the molding/insulation that is wedged in the crease between the grill and the top of the hood (under the hood and below the Mercedes Emblum). It runs along the crease under the hood and fits on top of the radiator when closed.

Just curious.
