16v gauges went dead

Hi all:
On my 1987 190e 16v, my gas gauge used to jump around a bit at anout half full to empty, and today the gas gauge, oil pressure, water temp, oil temp, and voltmeter all stopped working (although they all still light up when the lights go on). Any idea where the ground for this is? Could it be something else? Thanks.
