Recalibrating/Correcting Speedo

I'm about to do a differential swap on my 94 E420. Is there a best aftermarket calibration tool? I've seen the Yellow Box and the Electronic Ratio Adapter mentioned.

The traction system sends signal to the speedo. so that would require a modification of that signal..

Isn't the speed signal just picked up at one of the front wheels? So diff swap shouldn't matter? Or is this later cars?
