need codes
Is there any way to read the diagnostic codes on an 89 300e with out a scanner tool, Im used to american cars where you can use a jumper wire and read engine light.....is there anything similar to do on mercedes

If the car is a California version then the diagnostic connector will have a pushbutton & red LED... IF not then the only diagnosis is by watching the duty cycle...
