Drain plug location M102?
Hi folks
I am planning to replace the coolant in my 82 200 this weekend since it began to be reallly cold here. Question is: Where is the block drain plug located on a M102 engine? Last winter i just drained the radiator via the plastic plug and added antifreeze to top up it only got 4 or 5 liters and owners manual says "Coolant Capacity = 8,5 liters". This time i want to do it the "Mercedes way" accordig to the manual and drain every drop of that 8,5 liters. thanx in advance |

Block drain is just below the aluminum motor support arm...should be a 19MM hex plug.

Driver or passenger side?
19mm? Will any socket work or a special one needed? |
