OK.. the problem is Mercedes hired a trained monkey (poorly trained) to do their electronic version of the manual.
THere are a few things wrong with it. Your problem stems from this. "\" I don't know what they were thinking.. many of the links are "program/engine/103\20-4052.pdf" that back slash kills it and it cant be fixed easily in the software. You can just delete the \ and replace with /. THey also didnt link ALL the pdfs. There are plenty that just don't get reffed in the searches. there are over 1000 pages in the 103 manual and you can get to about 100. You can browse the directories for the documents you need. But how do you know what you need? Its indexed in the worst way i've ever seen.

So the following is more suggested->

If you download all the pdfs and use an OCR.. thats an optical character recognition program. Using Acrobat Pro (your office may have it?) you can put all the pdfs (in order) into one giant document. You can turn their crappy scanned images into real text that is searchable. Thats what I did.

If you buy the cds you get the same exact problems. The docs are there.. just not linked.

The story is, mercedes is aware and sorry.. but not really interested in fixing it. Its not brain gears fault.

I would never suggest you go ahead and use a tool like WGET to download their entire directory. Or that it would work perfectly for such an occasion.
