Ignition wires plugged into wrong hole...Damage?
Hi guys,
I wonder if anyone can help? I by mistake plugged my Ignition/Spark plug wires into the wrong hole on the distributor...I tried cranking the car but obviously it would not crank/turn over... I realized my mistake and put the wires into the correct hole. All is fine now. My question Is have I damaged anything? Many thanks... Zak |

No ... except perhaps for the wires pulling them back out of distributor.

The only "danger" of cranking when sparkplug wires are being manipulated/moved around is if you leave one disconnected the spark may discharge between the ignition coil windings and damage the coil as it has nowhere else to "go". Sounds to me that you'll be fine.
