Rear Window Defroster not working (1985 190E)
 

Hi everyone,
I'm a long-time reader, but first-time poster on the forum. :)

My Rear Window Defroster doesn't seem to work on my 1985 190E.
The light in the switch illuminates when I press it, and after 1min or so it starts to flash. Should that happen?
Eventually the light goes off and I can't feel any difference in Temperature on the screen.

This is the Rear Window Defroster switch, right?

We have a 1993 190 but I am unfamiliar with the switch shown. Looks like it might be a "Beam me Up Scotty" switch. I advise use with caution untill you get a more positive identification.
