How to replace.......
The car: 1989 260E W124:
I need to replace a noisy belt tentionner shock absorber. How can I get to the bottom bolt? What need to be removed. Thanks |
if your talking about the bolt that hold the tensioner from the bottom you will need (deep socket 19mm) and braker bar.

I'm not talking about the tentioner.
What I need to replace is only the small shock absorber. The bottom bolts seems to be a real pain in the but to reach. Any tricks? |
sorry i did not see the word shock , i used regular open wrench i think 8 or 10 mm it is very tight but it can be done.
