Vintage Beckman Analyzers.. Anyone know or seen them before?
A while back I snapped up 3 Vintage Beckman Analyzers at Shop clearance sale..
I know they were from the 70's, but thought they looked cool and could be useful. One is a Beckman ICT1560.. Ignition Tester. It has dwell, tach and a timing light. On the right side is a CRT tube where you can see each Cylinder fire and a trace showns.. kinda like a oscilloscope. You can test on 1 thru 8 cylinder vehicles, and kill any cylinder spark individually to test balance etc. ![]() ![]() I also got 2 HC/CO testers. This one, and a portable one. Both are IR units. ![]() I have used the ICT 1560, and it worked good, but dont have any manual or info, and I have no idea how to really use them. A detailed search of the internet gave up little info, but I did find that all of them are "Lab Grade" and the NC/CO tester was quoted in papers and used at EPA labs to test and to set emmisions standards. Just wondered if anyone had ever seen these or something similar, or know how to use them?
