300E vibration first few miles
Good morning !
My 86' 300E is vibrating badly 50-65 mph but only for the first few miles on th e highway. If I go faster for a few miles , then I can drive it at 60 just fine. Michael |
Installed different tires lately?
Sounds like they may be flat-spotting overnight. |
I agree with Manny. Tire maybe worn and threads maybe seperation. It is also possible that tire maybe out of balance. Anyway check tires first before you start tackle anything else.

Yes, I'll take it by COSTCO this weekend. I've never really been happy with this set of RE950's. I've always felt like something is wrong with them. They don't have more than 15k miles on them. Michael |
