Check Engine Code P1711
Anybody ever get a Code P1711, Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor out of Self-Test Range. This is using the OBDII connector on the car. If yes, what was the resolution?

On a 1996 C280 that code is for the resonance "variable" flap on the intake.
Make sure that it is plugged in!

Thanks! What does this resonator do exactly. Mine sounds like it's flapping around in the morning when car is first started. How does it affect the car and should it be changed?
