W210 Drivers Side Mirror
 

The drivers side mirror is dangling by the wires.

There is a round disk inside the mirror housing but I can't figure out how the mirror glass assembly is held in place.

I don't see any plastic tabs, maybe they snapped off.

Any suggestions?

After reading posts about the spring clip, I moved the mirror to face down all the way. Then I placed the mirror glass assembly over the top of the circular base to allow the spring clip to grip against the base.

It appears to be on good, no wobbling. I will see how well it hold up.
