New photos of my "boys"
I got my Ronal R9s painted, mounted, and (finally!) put on my w124. Thought I'd take some pics for myself, then figured since the camera is out, I'd take some of both cars. Just sharing.

They look great POS, your E300 looks exactly like the 95 E320 I used to have, same color and all. I miss that car.....

Look as good or better than the day they were purchased.

Those wheels are perfect for those cars! Nice cars.:cool:

Excellent pictures.
They're both beautiful cars. The right side fender vent distinguishes the diesel W124 doesn't it. I first noticed those on the taxicabs I saw in Norway, couldn't figure what they were, I'd never seen them before.
Those Ronal and AMG wheels certainly make a difference, don't they... The black AMG 280E manual is a treasure.....drool...... |
R9's = Timeless

is that amg 280 for real?

I came *this* close to bidding on this one myself. It took all I had to hold back. Imagine that, a black manual 280E AMG. |
Since the purchase of that AMG, I've been able to document that AMG did have it's hands on it. There's the DOT required sticker in the door jamb that lists "AMG of Missouri" as the importer, and I have the DOT paperwork that states the car was DOT-approved and registered to "AMG of Missouri".
I'm still waiting on some more papers from the second owner, and I'm trying to contact the original owner to get more of its history. Fun car to drive - I really like it. |
