Mass Air Flow Sensor diagnosis

1999 C280, 95K miles.

I have a check engine light, with error codes P0170 and P0173. I am tempted to replace the MAF sensor but it's terribly expensive. I have an oscilloscope which I can use to probe the leads. Does anyone know what the pins are to probe for the actual MAF values and power voltage?

Thanks.

I forget but it is easy enough to find out. If you have the maf removed and needle into the connections will it is plugged in, you will be able to manipulate the sensor. You will soon see one of the wires with a variable.
