95 E320 conv top malfunction
 

Hello to all,

I am having problems with the conv top of my E320. Before I take it to the shop I would like ask if there are any basic things I should check.

The car has only 20k and the top has not been used much at all, I would think that's the reason it keeps getting stuck.

It works perfectly fine and then all of a sudden it does not go up. The convertible lid for example today seems like it did not enough power to open up and then 5 minutes later I would try again and it would work.

Any suggestions?

Does the hydraulics need maintenance regularly?
