1994 s500 carphone
 

is there anyway to activate to stock phone in the 1994 s500 sedan. please let me know . I want to do it just for the hell of it.

You either have a OKI or Motorola, I dont think any carrier will activate it, they were band A or B AMPS and were analog. Neither one can activated unless you are dealing with a rural telephone company, that never updated their system, nor provides service for roaming. The 900 mhz spectrum that that stuff operated in, is being changed to GSM which is semi-world wide, those radios are also non 911 compliant. I would think some remote island in the world maybe, but I doubt it. Those radios were obsolete 10 to 12 years ago.

My '94 car phone works great (hands-off) and it's with Verizon Wireless. About $23 a month.
