oil
 

i just bought my daughter an 86 420 sel.
i did the oil change when i got home from work yesterday and was very surprised to see that after 6.5 liters of maxlife i was only half on he dip stick between the min and max marks.
i have changed oil in my other cars before just something doesn't feel right, 6.5 liters?
please any help would be greatly appreciated
anyway keep up the good work this seems to be quite the site
actually i changed the oil myself because the guy i bought it from told me to go to a dealer because he couldn't find the oil filter, a quick search on your site and it gave me perfect directions

Avoid over filling and always wait for your dash low oil light to come on before adding a quart.
