Hello again,
have another question: I am rebuilding the head of our '88 190E 2.3. I am about to start re-assembling it tomorrow. One problem that I am concerned about. If I have the cam with the little notch where it belongs, (perpendicular to the floor and facing the drivers side) and the #1 piston is at the top of it's stroke, what position does the rotor go? I have looked at all the books and I can't find a difinitive answer. The timing chain has some slack in it so I don't know exactly what position it was in. Please help. Thank You, Kyle
