1998 c43 with 722.6 reliability
 

looking at a 1998 c43 and heard alot of bad things about the tranni's Are they true? dealer showed records of trani fluid, electric cable and control unit recall done in 2001 with 59,00 miles car has 90 on it now

Biggest problem with that trans & other lubricated items is the LACK of fluid changes...including the engine!

Lubricants don't go as far as they would like them to go.

Have the trans long term adaptations read. then proceed with your purchase.

178,000 miles here on a 722.6 and still shifting perfectly.
