I know it sounds a bit silly of me but I can not find out how to turn on the headlamp wipers on my 1988 300E. I do not have the owners manual, is there a switch somewhere??

You have to have the lights on and the wipers on. That is it!!!

You sure about that?

I have a 1987 300D Turbo. Those wipers activate
if and only if the lights are on and the windshield
washer is activated. (They squirt water and whip
across the lights quite quickly, so you have to be looking
in a mirror to see them.)

I second that opinon. On my car they only come on when you squirt windshield washer fluid on the windshild and headlamp. They dont come on when the wipers come on.

My bad...
