Trying to locate 2007 221 chassis CL600

Any car dealers out there with one of these on their lot?

We've sold a bunch of 550's, but I haven't seen a 600 yet. Try http://www.mbusa.com/index.do to see if you can find one in your area.

FWIW, the CL chassis designation is C216, not 221.:D

I have to say, they look better in pics than in person, at least according to the white one I saw. Maybe I need to look closer. The 215, to me, is the most distinctive modern MB there is, next to the 124 Cabrio.

Yeah a 550 won't do. I am looking for a friend who wants one.

Thats interesting. For most of the other S class coupes they kept the chassis number the same and suddenly now it gets its own chassis numbers. One has to wonder whats going on over in Germany these days. :)

Personally I think the Sedan version of the new S class is much more attractive. The bulging wheel arches on the sedan make it look athletic and sleek because the car has length to it. The Coupe is not quite long enough to pull them off but yet has them anyway making it look too thick and heavy.

Like many other of the S class coupes its apparent that Mercedes designs the sedan first and then tries to turn that design into a coupe. Sometimes it works well and sometimes it does not. You have to do a little more in my opinion than remove a set of doors and change the grille design to have a sucessful coupe.
