I have been told a gear at the bottom of the 'dissy' drive needs replacing on my petrol car is this a comon problem, and is it easy to replace without taking the motor out of the car?

Never heard of a "dissy" on any car..how about a part number?

Yes dizzy is the scouse (Liverpool England) name for the distributor
