blower motor/regulator
are there any sites that show the process of a install/removal of a blower motor/regulator for a 1996/1997 e320 :confused:

Not sure if this works for you.

That PDF if very close. The E has six or so screws holding the bottom of the airbox on (rather than clips) and two (rather than three) screws holding the trim panel in place.

be warned.you cannot buy the regulator by itself for this model as there was an update.you have to buy the new regulator and the blower motor and yes it's under the glovebox.
