e320 ignition switch replacement
 

1995 e320 Does anyone have instructions on replacing the ignition switch located behind the key cylinder. I cannot find any information on this in either of my Mercedes manuals.

my cd's don't have it either..

everyone says to turn the key to position 1... to release the electrical connection on the back of the switch, but mine doesn't seem to want to release..

my ignition key tumbler is fine..

i am wondering if i can do this without removing the steering wheel
