I believe he was referring to the fact that the steering wheel will be locked so don't plan on turning.

You mean its not possible to add a remote starter to the W124 without causing the steering to lock up?

The steering wheel is locked mechanically until you turn the key.

If you are refering to the ire tool to remove the tumbler...

I made my own with a piece of wire. If I remember correctly, the tips have to be cut in a 45 degree angle in order to work...I may have the tool somewhere around my garage to take a picture...If I find it I will post.

The special tool is a piece of 2mm wire bent into a U shape. The sides should be 20mm apart. The inside tips should be ground/filed to a 70' angle.
