Are there particular problem areas with these cars?

That was the first year for that trans in a 6 cyl car...fluid changes are important!
M104 head gaskets are prone to leak oil on the passenger side. |

M104 Plus 5-speed Auto??
In reading this, I realized that this era C280 would be an M104 with the electronic 5-speed auto....
Thus the inevitable question - can this 5-speed be installed behind ANY M104 Engine??? Namely 94-95 3.2L . Please say it's so..... MarcG |
