DVD Nav malfunction after battery change
I have done the search, and have not been able to find this problem addressed, although it may be out there somewhere.
My battery died in my 2000 ML 320 (with a retrofitted DVD Nav system). Probably the original battery. I charged the battery back up, and it ran fine for a few days. I did notice that the DVD Nav could not find a satellite. After sitting for two days this weekend, the battery ran down a second time. I purchased a new battery, and installed it. Everything worked fine, re-entered the radio code, syncronized the BAS/ESP. The DVD Nav worked great for about a two hour trip back into town this morning. This afternoon, I ran a few errands, and double checked the DVD Nav, and it is once again not receiving any satellite signal. All other functions seem to be working. Any ideas? Thanks, George |
