190 E - Automtic Transmission
 

HELP! Recently replaced cyl. head gasket - ran fine afterwords, but now won't upshift. Can drive @ +/- 25mph - think it might be vacuum or electrical(upshift relay??) don't know where to check first & am in the "boon docks"
FOLLOW UP - TOOK IT TO A REPAIR GUY, NO VACUUM OR ELECT. PROBLEM - HE THOUGHT MAYBE VALVE BODY OR GOVERNOR - NOW SAYS PROBABLY TOAST NEED TO REBUILD ($1,800 - 2,000) ANY IDEAS???

when u replace head gasket, what things did you unhook? My guess is a vacumm thing also, but I am not a tech
