any thoughts? 1994 w202 C220 twenty second cranking time

Any thoughts?

1994 w202 C220

Twenty second cranking time, any time it sets more than one hour or more.

No fault codes...

Thank you.

no start

Remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator and watch for fuel from the nipple. It shouldn't leak any fuel.

Ok

starts every time, just extended cranking, after setting one hour or longer.

I would check fuelrail pressure.
See if it drops, due to a possible dripping injector.

whunter, how many miles on the 1994 C220? When were the spark plugs replaced last? What's the condition of the ignition wires? I suspect the fuel pressure would build-up in a few seconds. When was the fuel filter replaced last?

I have changed my Fuel Pressure regulator and my long duration of cranking problem has been resolve. Thanks a million to whunter for guiding me through this challenge.

I have also looked under my hood of the c220 1994 and on the emission label is state "OBD II certified" and under the drivers side there is a 16 pin connector. So now it's time for me to buy a good OBD II Scanner.
