Could someone help me locate my idle valve control. The vehicle runs beatifully when moving but idles rich.

|
check the coolant water sensor for resistance. At initial start up, ...this sends a signal to the ICU to increase fuel flow then minimize it as the coolant heats up. Replace it as required.

The idle control valve plays no part in mixrure control. It only provides throttle control through by-passing of the throttle plate.
