I have two questions that need help on:

1975 115 240D - How to remove A/C clutch (York compressor), Do I need a puller.

1991 124 300E - How to replace driver side lock cylinder.

Thanks, jack

Jack,
The clutch on the York compressor can by removed by removing the screw holding the clutch on the shaft and taping the clutch with a hammer. I have never had to use a puller. Don't even have one. The hammer has always done the job.

As it turn out, the A/C clutch on my 115 is not bad, I only have the tighten the belt. The noise disappear.

I have to replace the lock cylinder on the 124, the lock just turn when the key was inserted. after I loosen the small screw that holds the lock cylinder. The key freeze, will not turn either direction. I have to remove the lock cylinder container off the car door to free the key.

I also replaced the oil sensor, and the transmission shift bushing. The vibration noise is gone.

Jack,
Sorry, but I have no experience on door locks. I have replaced a couple of ignition tumblers. Not the lock; just the tumbler with key. That is a fairly easy job. Maybe the same with the door tumbler...
