I was recently told that there were 2 fuel filters that needed to be change on my car?
I had one changed about 10k miles ago. I think it was the main filter, under the passenger side by the rear wheel.
Where is the other one? How much would having it done cost?
Is it neede?

(I am finally on schedule, so that I can have a complete 30K mile service when I hit 120k miles..., everything has been sporadic since I got the car, I want it all to be more organized!)

I only know of one. I have not seen MB use 2 fuel filters on a gas engine.
Anyone else?

That is what I was wondering too. I thought only the diesels had a 'prefilter.'
But the guy at the MB of Tucson listed all things for the 90K mile service, and I had it in my head to have the diff fluid changed and the 2nd fuel filter... And was curious?

The only gasoline mercedes vehicles I know that have 2 fuel filters are the CIS fuel injected systems that have a main fuel filter and a mini filter at the intake fuel line at the fuel distributor but obviously this would not pertain to the vehicle you mentioned
