Removing the Drivers Side knee bolster on a 92 500SEL

Hello
I was wondering about removing the Drivers Side knee bolster on a 92 500SEL. W140.051

Some say there are some screws behind the covering that must be removed, others say there are some latches.

I am trying to get access to the headlamp switch wiring.
