She goes "pop"
 

When I kill the engine on my 190e 2.6 it goes "pop", this at normal idle, just a soft pop, I know my smog pump maybe dieing, could this be related, other wise this is a fine running machine.

Do you have enough fuel in the tank???

Yes, 3/4 full 91octane, fresh 10w40 to mark, idles at 750rpm. maybe a little to high?

How did you get it to idle? you had high idle last time I saw a post from you!:laugh2:

Hi j-n-t, the idle just cured itself, good living I quess, maybe the pop will too, just a little backfire,sounds like a little old lady in church, could this be coming back up the smog pump line as it was real noisy a few days ago, OK since. ???
