Talking MB 96 210.055 Did I make a Mistake?

Ya, I bought one, no rust, spring perch's look fine, dealer maintained to 100K records in hand. Mettalic blue. DID I MAKE A MISTAKE?

Im the 3rd owner currently 144K it drives/runs great. Gets 25 MPG and has all the goodies. I think its a great car for $8300. Comperbly, what can you get for that ;a focus or grand am.
I wrench evrything my self and am really glad to have found this site and the parts section great resource.
Problems, cloudy headlight lenses and driver seat heater INOP. small Vibration in stearing wheel between 48MPH and 56MPH. Popping sound in the front suspension when accelerating hard or going over bumps while turning.

I would like to know what the normal RPM is for the auto trans 722.329 at 80 MPH seems hi but so does the redline.

Any feedback or tips would be great I intend on bringin her up to par real fast and drivin it till the crank falls out.

After living in germany and Italy for 5 years seeing the longevity of the drive trains I dont think you can beat it.

as Im new to the Benz world I have some concearns, but am fastly feeling good about this car and its performance. The solid feel and light curb weight is astounding.

Thanks for reading

If it's geared anything like the 93-95 E320's then at 80 it may be from 2,800 to 3,000 rpm.

The engine is a small , high-reving 6.
