my w201 left me in the dark...
so why the hell doesn't the gauge cluster or climate control buttons light up?!

because the rheostat in the instrument cluster needs to be rotated or it has died.

well...
would it be more economical to rip apart the dash and turn/replace the rheostat or just replace the whole damn instrument cluster?
