Irratic vibrations

Guys,

My 86 300E is driving me crazy- The vibration can be almost none to mild and from 45mph to 70 mph. Sometimes none- Tires are new RE960's as the last set was suspect and old.

All suspension is fairly new. Would could and Idler arm start to give such symptoms? Almost like a loose wheel which somehow center's itself while driving. Going to check wheel brg play today.

Michael

So thinking logically, did the vibration start when you got the new tires or was it present before this?

If it started with the new tires, then it's probably the tires. If it were me, I would go to www.gsp9700.com and use their locate a shop with this equipment. They will have the correct plastic weights and the balance is world class. It will also find bent rims. Recommend using weights on the lip versus the stick on weights.
