How do you remove the license plate light assembly from the body?

Squat down and look up at it, there are three screws...that is, if it is a E430.

License plate lights assembly removal
98 E430 I have removed the 3 screws and the associated trim piece. cannot figure out how to remove the light assembly to change the bulb.
