I have no noise when the pump is disengaged, its only when the car is started.

If I can turn this pump into a idler pulley I'm fine with that. I did not check any play in the shaft when I had the serpentine belt off, so my guess is I need a new clutch on the pump.

Can anyone give me a general cost to replace the clutch on the pump and is it easy to do?

Thanks for everyone's input. :)

Guys.. is the air injection pump the thing right above the alternator?

Making a hell of a racket on my car even after warmup (shot bearing I guess)

Smog pump clutch bearing

bdrought;
We have the smog pump clutch bearing in stock if you need one.
We are not sure what kind of smog pump you use in the UK. We do have one for the North American version. Measurement are approximately 52mm O.D., 32mm I.D. and 18mm W.
If interested E-mail us by private message.
Thanks;
Jean

So that's what that noise is! I was getting scared that it was something important falling apart. Phew!
